Don't let Lecrae fool you. He's no outsider, no matter what the first track of Anomaly might suggest. He's a man secure enough in his faith and his artistic vision to seem at home anywhere. As if to prove it, this multi-talented hip-hop force of nature is joined by worship artist Kari Jobe, Australian rockers For King & Country and labelmate Andy Mineo for his seventh studio disc. As a Christian with a penchant for rap, Lecrae may be a bit of an anomaly in a genre dominated by CCM, but as he points out on the title track, people of faith kind of stand out. Thankfully, he does it with style.
